Q: Why do big companies and startups handle business processes so differently?

A: Big companies stick to tried-and-true processes because they’ve been through the wringer and know what works. They like to play it safe and avoid risks that could backfire. Startups, though, are all about exploring the unknown. Their processes are more flexible because they’re still figuring things out and are comfortable with making quick changes when needed.

Q: Why do big companies get nervous about risk, while startups seem to embrace it?

A: For big companies, risk can mean big losses, so they’re naturally more cautious. Startups, on the other hand, thrive on risk – it’s part of their DNA. They see risk as a chance to innovate and discover new opportunities. While big companies are confident in managing changes within their known processes, startups are more adventurous, ready to dive into the unknown.
